Looking for a way to get people into your booth??? Ask for some Keeper’s Corner business cards, and on the back print your name, vendor number and booth number. Give them out to friends and neighbors and invite them into the store.
Some of you have asked about the business cards with the tear off price tag that some of the vendors have. They can be purchased at most print shops. Scott and I use Anderson Production Printing. We like using them because a business card goes out with every item you sell. It is a great way to advertise your items and your location.
We have a few empty booths and do not like to have empty spots in the store. We are allowing vendors to put a FEW things in them to keep the store looking full. It is not intended as an area for vendors to build a full display, but just to put a few things in them to alleviate the “EMPTY” look. Please ask on each and every item put in these booths. Please check with Scott or Bonnie for more details.
We have had no set policy at Keeper’s Corner on Dealer Discounts for “verified dealers.” We are going to allow each of you to choose whether you will allow a 10% Dealer Discount on all of your items or just on items over $50.00. Please let Bonnie or Scott know so that you can be put on the correct list. Now remember, we always ask for either a resale number or a business card from those asking for a dealer discount, it isn’t given to just anybody, only “Verified Dealers”. You must sign up to give a DD on all items, other wise we will just assume you are on the $50 and over list.
The display by the sales area will be changing to a fall display about mid September. If you have some items you think will fit the theme, please let Bonnie or Scott know.
Need some help with the rent? Remember that we do have a “finder’s fee” as a reward for your help in finding new vendors for the store. If anyone rents a booth and mentions that you pointed them in our direction, you will receive rent credit up to an amount equal to their monthly rent but not more than your monthly rent. (Maximum $100 credit). See Bonnie or Scott for more details.
Also as a reminder, if you have a whole booth discount sale in your booth, make sure you let the front staff know when you take it off, so it can be removed from the list. You may have discounts taken after your sale goes off if you neglect to let us know!!!
Reminders:
• Check the “Want List” from customers, new requests added often
• Check the bulletin board for other information
• Correct tags are money in your pocket!!!! Check the till for no ID tags
• Missing items? Check the back of the sales area for a memo on where to look and who to see!!!
Scott’s Thoughts: Missed lots of you at the Bar-B-Q but we understand that everyone is very busy and going their own direction. We had 35 there and lots and lots of food. A big “THANK-YOU” to all of you who brought salads and desserts. Bonnie and I had lots of burgers, hotdogs and buns left but we have finally gotten them eaten (having 5 grandchildren in the house helps). We’re looking forward to having it again next year and we think we will try the middle of week when everyone is not heading out of town.
Well school has started and I am back at the “salt mines”. If the truth is known, I really love my job (most days). It is going to be my last year and then you will have to put up with me more at the store.
Be sure to check out the new booths and the high walls on some of the old booths. People wanted the back walls and I do what I can to keep people happy.
Keep your booths full because we are coming into the busy time of the year. The holidays will be here before we know it.
See ya around

To market in terms of high-performance rather than price, and in order to differentiate consequently, you necessitate to observe the frequent format of the 4 Ps marketing plan. That is, Price, Product, Place and Promotion evidently you know the strategic attributes of the product, and the cost, but for place you should remember around the type of individuals who are willing to pay over 4x price of competing merchandise whereas the cheap option may be sold where accent is on cost, your merchandise will be suited to places/distributors where the clients will be willing to pay for high-performance. At last something is at the movies that is worth watching. I think a lot of last years movies were good but towards the end some of the bigger blockbusters were abit of a let down. I am looking forward to this year though beacuse I think we are in for a few surprises expecially from smaller studios.
